Ironing shirt fronts to fusible interfacing.

Trimming them up.

My DGD Chrissy came over last week and we cut up a big bag of her shirts from high school and college. I've now finished ironing them to the interfacing and trimming. Waiting for her to come back and arrange them into a layout. Second semester at Millikin has started this week, so don't know when she can get to it!
 In other news, I have made a few more bowtie blocks. For a good size quilt I figured I need 289, and I have 71 now.

I'm swap chairperson for evening guild meeting, and have started the "thread" units for Edyta Sitar's Spool Quilt. Hope the swap goes well, and participants follow the guidelines!
