March!
This morning was cloudy and dreary, but I did venture out for yoga class. The sun came out this afternoon, so bright and cheerful looking, however the air is COLD! An excellent afternoon to spend in my happy place sewing room.
After my trip to the bank on Friday, I thought I had lost a $20 dollar bill. I was thinking that I hope whoever finds it will make good use of it. Today I discovered it in my iphone pouch! Happy dance time!
What I am working on quilty wise:
-hand appliqueing the 25th and last block for Applique Affair.
-machine appliquing a Dresden Star block see photo)

April 30, 2016
A cool and rainy day. Got my herb garden planted this week, so this gentle steady rain is very welcome!
I cut out some pieces from 30's reproductions for my bow tie blocks earlier today, and this evening am
working on a Lucy Boston block; English paper piecing.
I was inspired by a quilt guild member's progress on her blocks to get going on mine again. Now I'm running out of papers!

November 2015
Took a guild class from Jean Shaw in September. She taught "Lincoln's Watch", a Red Crinoline pattern. Made a lot of blocks at LLQA retreat first week of November, and now have all 99 blocks made and am putting them together. Stepped out of my box colorwise. Started with my collection of French General, and added other pieces.
Also working on a gift quilt that I can't show yet.
And I finished a dish towel apron started in a quild meeting several years ago.

Blue Moon Quilting July 2015
There are two full moons this month, hence the term "Blue Moon"!
Finished "Clarissa's Garden" doll quilt, which was started in Kathleen Tracy's class on May 9.
She shared some of her scraps, so I have included a few pieces of her fabric in it.
